*CLOSED* Giveaway: All You Magazine Subscription from Bargain Briana

Bargain Briana Today’s prize is for those with a US mailing address.

With the way the economy is, more people than ever are trying to find ways to control and/or cut their expenses.  There are numerous frugal blogs that offer tips to help you save money.  One such blog is Bargain Briana.  Briana specializes in helping people learn how to use coupons to save on groceries.  Briana has donated a 2 year subscription to All You magazine, a publication that offers some great money-saving ideas and coupons.

To be entered, leave a comment at this post no later than 11:59 p.m. EDT, Thursday, February 26, 2009.  (It would be nice if you stated your favorite money-saving tip from Bargain Briana.)  The winner will be chosen using random.org.

If you really want to win this subscription, you can earn up to six additional entries by completing the following tasks. (Please leave a separate comment for each task.)

  1. Sign up for our newsletter. The sign up box is located at the top of our sidebar. If you are already a subscriber, leave a comment letting us know that.
  2. Add our Berries and Cream Blog Design button to your site. Grab the code from the bottom of our sidebar.
  3. Blog about and link to this giveaway.
  4. Blog about our launch party and make sure you include a link to this blog (http://berriesandcreamblogdesign.com).

    I like this tip:
    You don’t want to just use a coupon for products you will never use just because you have a coupon (unless you are getting it free!!!) You want to wait until that item goes on sale and then use your coupon to maximize your savings.

    Love this magazine! I’m not real good at saving money LOL but I would say it’s best for me not to use coupons because when I do, I am more likely to get things I normally wouldn’t purchase therefore wasting money.

    WOW! Iused to think I was a smart shopper, but I in the past 2 months, I started learning about couponing from a ‘coupon queen’ who has a blog on a local radio show in Chicago.     Favotite tip: What items do you use on a regular basis? These are the items you want to stockpile at the lowest price possible. For example, I always stockpile cereal when I find it for $1.25 or less or toothpaste when it is .25 or less. I buy it today even if I don’t need it because I know these are items I will use in the future. You can save money by having the items you use regularly on hand because 1) you purchased at a low price and 2) saves time, money, and impulse items when you have to stop at the store for that one item

    The best tip from Bargain Briana, and the one I follow religiously, is to carry your stores coupon policies with you at all times. This way, they can never turn you down for a great deal just because the cashier doesn’t know the policy!
