i don’t know how.. will someone tell me how 2 get this page added in my ipod so my brother can take a look at it?
Thanks for spamming; it’s really appreciated.
I actually just searched on google for cheap domain names and hosting and remembered I got a magazine a while back that advertised 1&1 Hosting. If anyone is interested, they have a year for free and it comes with at least two domain names, depending on the package you get. It’s the best deal I’ve found
Hey, Kristin,
Thanks for the tip. That could be a good deal. However, from my experience, the cheapest deal does not always mean the BEST deal.
I’ve dealt with 1 and 1 hosting and have found them to be frustrating to work with as far as WordPress websites go.
The worst case was when a client couldn’t upgrade their site because their hosting account used an old version of PHP which was not compatible with the latest version of WordPress.
It took me about 8 hours to get their site updated to a new database that was compatible with the new version of WordPress. The hoops I had to jump through and the lack of information available to make the necessary changes was absolutely ridiculous.
The reason I recommend Hostgator is because I’ve had extensive experience using them for both my own websites and for client sites. The experience has always been fantastic with no frustrations caused by limited access to functions needed for setting up and maintaining the site.
