Berries and Cream Blog Design is a WAHM-owned and operated business. Because both Revka and Linda are mommy bloggers and WAHMs, we know the joys and frustrations you experience daily. Our common experiences give us a unique understanding of what you need.

Revka Stearns

Revka Stearns is the owner of Berries and Cream Blog Design. She’s wife to a wonderful man she affectionately calls “Mr. Incredible.”  They have three daughters and one son – Pookie Bear (7), Miss Muffet (5), Baby Bear (4), and Buddy Bear (18 months).

Revka passionately loves creating blog designs.  (Her husband thinks she loves it a little too much.)  She crams in as much design time as she can between homeschooling the girls and being a stay-at-home mommy.  She especially enjoys working with other moms and women entrepreneurs.

Revka has a special knack for finding solutions for client’s problems.  Need ecommerce capabilities?  No problem.  Want rotating images on your front page that you can link to any place you choose?  That can be done.  Need a form for visitors to sign up through to receive more information about your products or services? You got it.  Whatever your needs, Revka will search until she finds the answer to your problem.

Revka nearly always includes her life verse in her blog designs, hiding it in a section that only the blog owner will see. This verse is the perfect description of Revka’s philosophy: “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might;” Ecclesiastes 9:10 (KJV)

Linda

Linda Hernestal da Silva is the co designer at Berries and Cream and has been so since the early beginning. She lives in Brazil with her husband and son, but is originally from Sweden. She has been a WAHM since the beginning of 2007 and is enjoying the independent business life that contains a lot of challenges.

She tries to help other new WAHMs whenever possible guiding them with the knowledge she has gained throughout the years.

Linda has a love for clean and crisp designs, but also loves the sweet and cute blogs that makes you go “oooh” when you see them. Her clients often compliments her on her patience and attention to detail, two things she thinks are very important when working on a design. She doesn’t mind if she has to re-work a design as long as the end result will be a happy client.

If a challenge comes up she is more than willing to find a solution to make sure her client gets a great design. As an enthusiastic person her motto is: “Everything can be sorted out and nothing is impossible”
